OneDrive was the last straw for me.
- robocat 10mo agoDirty upsells for recurring revenue. Apple pushes iCloud REALLY HARD. I'm on the free plan but I paid when on holiday and now I get heavy dark patterns from Apple (phone UI, emails, yadda). Android too? Persistently asking "Photos backup is turned off! Turn it on?" to use up storage to justify a subscription fee? Too often you can feel a UI push towards some revenue stream - frustrating UX!
- wormius 10mo agoWe need to call Windows 11 (the MS ecosystem), all these "free" systems, "Nagware" like in the old days.
