  yes, first thing i thought of. although i'm quite confident it's still outside the scope of our lifetimes, i do worry for future generations

  For me, it immediately made me think of Psycho-Pass. It’s a cyberpunk anime where society uses a system called the Sibyl System to constantly scan people’s mental states and “crime potential” (their Psycho-Pass). People can be arrested before they’ve done anything - just because the system picked up certain signals from them. Very, very interesting idea
