The one month free only applies to hosting. I only use godaddy for dns and recieved the letter without the line about getting credit. (as a side note, I want to switch away from godaddy but I haven't found a good registrar in europe to transfer to yet, and I only use the domain for remote access to my personal net at the moment so it hasn't really been a high priority. Still, does anyone have any tips?)
