This seems so simple but I’m totally not understanding it.. If C = D^2, and you double compute, then 2C ==> 2D^2. How do you and the original author get 1.41D

If C = D^2, and you double compute, then 2C ==> 2D^2. How do you and the original author get 1.41D from 2D^2?
