Yes, it went commercial. But Conda is still free. And the community had built conda-forge to maintain packages. Conda + conda-forge can completly replace Anacon

Yes, it went commercial. But Conda is still free. And the community had built conda-forge to maintain packages. Conda + conda-forge can completly replace Anaconda for most people. So even though they went commercial, they left pretty good things behind for the Open source community.
