Solving the compute crisis with physics-based ASICs
- aifer4 1y agoThis is a perspective article I wrote with a number of researchers in unconventional computing, about solving problems in AI using physics-based chips. There is also a video of me discussing the paper on a livestream here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0h_mf5usgvg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0h_mf5usgvg

How far away are we from seeing a real application of this in the AI space? (It reminded me of an ex-colleague's company in Germany that makes analog computers https://anabrid.com https://anabrid.com.)
