Stop saying AI makes us work longer
- rogerkirkness 1y agoThe whole idea is for people to work on things that are interesting and valuable to customers at the same time. AI is for things that are valuable to customers but not interesting to work on.
- fernvenue 1y agoTrue, for that boring stuff we can just tell AI to do and just review, and we can do other things at the same time, interesting things.
- JohnFen 1y agoBut reviewing code I didn't recently write is one of those boring things. genAI seems to increase the amount of unpleasant things I have to do and decrease the amount of enjoyable things.
