- hnlmorg 1y agoHit that and you also master time travel.
- aspenmayer 1y agoI know you were going for a BTTF reference, but a Primer (2004) reference would be a better fit for a VC forum. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Primer_(film) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Primer_(film)
- hnlmorg 1y agoWhy? The number 88 doesn’t even feature in Primer from what I can find.
- aspenmayer 1y agoI agree the original setup didn’t allow for much else in the way of references, I just wanted to shoehorn in a perhaps more apropos time travel movie reference. If you like Primer you might like this Australian time travel movie also, but I don’t think it references 88 MPH either. It’s a kind of Eternal Sunshine vibe and also involves weird tech. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Infinite_Man_(film) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Infinite_Man_(film)
- hinkley 1y agoThere's an old rant I cannot find at the moment that argued that most systems that believe they are 5 9's are really more like 5 8's.
