Stochastic Transparency [pdf]
- 01HNNWZ0MV43FF 1y agoOh this is from 2010. Maybe that's how the hair in Baldur's Gate 3 is done. It looks amazing when the character is standing still, and then gets noisy when they're moving. That's great, maybe I can afford to do it in GLES2 / GLES3
- kruffalon 1y agoI tried to read it (so I could contribute meaningfully to the conversation) but unfortunately I know too little to have it make sense. The reason was so I could write something completely unrelated... I was hoping this was a strategy to counter stochastic terrorism, that would have been neat to read about and somehow transparency seems like a good starting point.
- cholantesh 1y agoFunny; I thought it was referencing the practice of C-suites to effect 'transparency' basically at their leisure. Though I suppose that's not really stochastic, it's quite clear when it is self-serving for them to be transparent or to lie.
