They are well known to refuse cabin bags that were bought specifically for their sizing requirements. And passengers who do bring cabin luggage that does not «fit» to the boarding gate will either have it refused or placed in the aircraft's hold for a fee of up to €75. Many people have complained that these specifications havent been enforced fairly, but I suppose this is a win for the shareholders
