McDonald's AI Hiring Bot Exposed Applicants' Data to Hackers
- add-sub-mul-div 1y agoAI slop labor meets slop food. We're facing the McDonaldization of the whole culture at once. We're all affected by the health and quality consequences of this race to the bottom even if we don't personally eat their burgers.
- rejectedstone 1y agoI think "Hacker" is a stretch in this instance. When you try and succeed at logging in with "123456" as a password... To permit McDonalds to say they were the victim of hacking is a disservice to organizations who have been hacked. They left the data unprotected and should be held liable for criminal negligence.
