This happened on Quora until almost all western users left. Initially it was nice to have diversity of users and opinions, but then people started using Indian parlance that only other Indian users could understand (started referring to salaries as crore, relationship advice would reference Indian actors, etc.)

- gsky 1y agoby your logic Americans using millions is also a problem. Remember number system came from India. you cant tell them to change it for your convenience
- fkyoureadthedoc 1y agoNo, by their logic (because it's exactly what he said) the diversity was nice. It becoming a monoculture was perhaps less nice, but no opinion on that was offered, you have to infer.
