Most inverters don't work without grid synchronization. E.g. you lose electricity from your provider and your batteries / stored energy won't work either.
All new projects need to be A++ energy class rated which require you to use renewable energy, which is likely one of the main reasons for these increases.
- ViewTrick1002 1y agoIsland mode is a trivial option adding negligible cost when building a home solar and battery system.
- jillesvangurp 1y agoThere are technical solutions to that and they don't cost a whole lot. A few hundred dollars of electronics guarantee that your home stays online when the grid goes offline. It's something that people find out the hard way and then fix unfortunately instead of just buying the right stuff upfront.
