what does "MCP" stand for?
- dangus 1y agoI was about to say the same thing. It’s bad writing practice to do this, even if you are assuming your followers are following you. Especially for a site like Twitter that has a login wall.
- jasonlotito 1y agoI'm confused. It links to the definition in the first sentence, and I'm not sure what you mean by Twitter in this context.

- empath75 1y agoIf you don't know what it is and can't be bothered to google it, then you probably aren't the audience for this.
- dangus 1y agoAssuming that people will google is terrible practice as a writer. Imagine writing a movie or a play where you want people to walk out of the theater and look something up. At best you are directing the audience away your work.
- komali2 1y agoMicrosoft Certified Professional, a very common certification. Oh wait... hm ;) perhaps the writing nerds had it right when they recommend always writing the full acronym out the first time it's used in an article, no matter how common one presumes it to be
- apgwoz 1y agoMashup Context Protocol, of course! There was a post the other day comparing MCP tools to the mashups of web 2.0. It’s a much better acronym expansion.
- aidenn0 1y agoI didn't know either, but in the very first sentence, the author provides the expansion and a link to the Wikipedia page for it.
