Which makes this situation all the more remarkable, since Trump called in the national guard without Newsom’s approval.
- ImJamal 1y agoThe Insurrection Act of 1807 allows the president to call the national guard to stop riots. It also allows the military to be sent in. LA has had the marines sent in to stop riots in the past so this isn't exactly a new thing.
