- jessfraz 1y agoThis is code cad! Its click and point that generates code, or you can raw dog code, or you can use ML, its everything haha
- fallat 1y agoI'm not sure if you actually clicked through - while OpenSCAD is absolutely dope, Zoo Design Studio offers the same capabilities and more. Just like OpenSCAD, ZDS offers a code CAD experience if you like. It's a hybrid between the two worlds of traditional CAD and code CAD. Unlike OpenSCAD, you can have real typed code. You can specify real dimensions. That's not a thing in OpenSCAD. Unlike OpenSCAD, ZDS generates STEP files with BREP geometry. OpenSCAD outputs meshes only. I'm a huge OpenSCAD lover, but to dismiss this so fast is a bit disingenuous :)
- jeroen79 1y agoYeah i looked at the site, but its not for me. I guess some people new to 3D drawing might like it, but i don't see it used professionally.
