- burnt-resistor 1y agoSo much for freedom of speech. In other news, the House budget reconciliation bill contains a provision to deny federal courts from exercising contempt orders in cases that to do not include a bond. This would effectively make the America legal system powerless to stop the executive or legislative branches. The only hope to stop the destruction of the courts is for the Senate Parliamentarian to prevent this as it doesn't relate to funding or a filibuster on the matter.
