I really hope that they will be forced to change "approval" to "verified" process. So most companies/devs will be able to just publish on App Store, and apple can after that "verify" that the app confirms with their standards.

That won't happen. It's Apple's platform so they have the right to decide who gets onto it. Just like Walmart gets to decide whose products are sold through Walmart.
