I totally agree that learning German grammar as an adult is… demoralizing. Knowing, and accepting, that you will make a mistake every time that you open your mouth, hurts. Also, the increase in possible permutations (and opportunities for mistakes) when you add adjective conjugations to the mix is daunting.
