I run a small but fairly successful "embed chatGPT on your site" widget https://rispose.com https://rispose.com
I'm acquiring customers by:
- Offer a 100% free unlimited solution (with branding) I get a lot of daily clicks from people coming from my customer's website
- Offer a really good price. My competitors are about 5X more expensive. I'll eventually maybe raise my price, but for now I have a lot of people switching to my tool
- Affiliates. This is something new I'm still testing.
In summary a good free product which links back to you get's you millions of requests per month!
- Etheryte 1y agoI've seen a number of products like this and I'm somewhat curious: how do you handle the security side of things? Do you have a server to shield the API keys and proxy all requests?
- cosbgn 1y agoYes, all requests pass by our server.
- jwblackwell 1y agoYour site would look way better with mx-auto max-w-7xl :) The content is far too wide on big screens

- akoboldfrying 1y agoNit: Are you maybe German? You write "10.000" in a couple of places on your landing page, where native English speakers would expect to see "10,000".

- cosbgn 1y agoBoth, you can choose between documents (added in context) and files (RAG). It's explained fairly well in the dashboard once you login.
