It works fine on airgapped networks with Ohook https://massgrave.dev/ohook https://massgrave.dev/ohook Office doesn't have to talk to the internet at all other than periodic license checks. I won't run it without Ohook, even though I have a license, because the cloud shit has screwed me a couple of times.
