This is only a problem for non-Teslas or vehicles that can't utilize the Tesla supercharger network.
I don't think I have ever plugged into a supercharger more than 10/15 minutes.
- ketzo 1y agoSuperchargers aren’t available everywhere, and even in your scenario that’s still twice as long as it takes me to fill a gas tank, and you have to do it twice as often (at least). That’s not nothing!
- bunderbunder 1y agoHe was specifically talking about getting a Tesla. It wouldn't be the first time reality failed to live up to the promises of Tesla's marketing folks.
- thehappypm 1y agoDepends where you travel. If you like to ski in Vermont, you lose a lot of range to cold, and there aren’t a lot of superchargers.
