Romney's plan will result in far lower tax revenues, not accounting for indirect effects. It looks like the issue you're citing is a result of a lower dependent deduction allowance of some sort, and it generally means marginally higher taxes under Romney for people with moderate income with respect to the number of dependents they have. This doesn't mean that the plan isn't well suited to promoting low taxes to helping the economy. Also, that was a quite nicely designed site.
