When it comes to self hosting, Jellyfin is really not a Spotify replacement. There are better, more purpose driven application. A good example is Navidrome. It is a less featureful Spotify clone but it has more functionality than Jellyfin. I respect the author's self hosted journey and encourage everyone to go down that path.
