Show HN: I made a website that finds your hobbies based on your email
I built a website that uses OSINT to determine an email owner's interests and hobbies based on their online activity.
Many people underestimate what OSINT is truly capable of.
- Klaster_1 1y agoThat captcha was awful, I almost gave up at third one. Citing sources for results would be useful, if that's possible.
- loyai 1y agokind of a rate-limiting technique but i'll try to make it better, as for the sources I might do that in the future
- asymptotix 1y agoMine was reasonable, but barely a fraction of what I’d say I spend most of my time doing online.
- loyai 1y agoIt definitely has its limitations, but I think it's good enough for a start, might add a few more as well
- aziaziazi 1y ago[email I use for interpersonal and official communications]: no interests found [email for thinks I’m not willing to share or publicly associate with myself]: results: "programming" [email for everything else]: results: "programming (yes), freelance (not reaaaly), graphic design (15 years ago), Hiking (yes, how did it get that?!!) Cool tool and I’d be glad to click on a "how does that work" page. Since you mention OSINT here I’ll have a look at it. The changing header line (magic/intel/osint) is a hint but also a bit confusing as magic is obviously not serious and intel as many meanings.
- loyai 1y agothank you so much for the feedback! I will definitely show "how does that work" in the future
