That would be wasteful - Signal is open source, works well, and has been audited more thoroughly than any proprietary alternative would ever be.
- nielsbot 1y agoGovernment officials are required to record their communications. Signal is also not approved for secure communications. And while Signal the protocol and company might be secure, the phones it runs are not.
