What changed from last year? The deal that failed?
The article says:

Is that it? It's crazy to announce the deal before there's any actual policy changes. Why the rush? It's not like someone is outbidding them here.
- ecshafer 2y agoThere is a new administration, and the new one doesn't have a DOJ that is extremely anti big tech, and going after them for antitrust on everything.
