Ironically, if you look at Sysco's stock price during the dotcom days, it's often correlated with Cisco spikes because clueless traders would accidentally buy the food logistics company stock instead of Cisco.

- BitwiseFool 2y agoI guess it's time to start a company called mVidia.
- pavlov 2y agoI think the usual move is to buy some barely operating New Jersey deli chain or teabag factory that happens to be publicly listed, then rename it to: Mvidia.AI BlockChain Deep Technology, Inc. ...and start putting out press releases about how you're planning to 1000x your revenue and uplist to NASDAQ, etc.
- BitwiseFool 2y agoBe sure to sell chips and biscuits - but always refer to the biscuits as wafers. Then describe adding toppings to them as wafer-scale integration.

- mrexroad 2y agoI was an engineer at Cisco in the 00’s and my FIL, a chef, just assumed I worked for Sysco and would tell people when they’d get deliveries. I can’t remember how it came up, but it went on for more than a decade, well after I’d moved on. Still makes me smile when I see a Sysco truck.
