That's exactly how we e2e tests for our ai conversational agents
All state is
immutable, the agent is basically a reducer so having these continuation trees is easy.
But I can't find a nice way to have pytest make a test per node in the tree. We end up with a single test for the whole tree which is less than ideal for dev experience.
Anyone with pytest hacking skills and an idea?
