Fandom.com's UI somehow continues to get worse every time I have to use it.. On a mobile browser it's not even obvious what the purpose of the wiki even is, just showing a grid of Trending Articles with the actual main page hidden in a dropdown at the very bottom of the page
- brendoelfrendo 2y agoI've started using the Indie Wiki Buddy: https://getindie.wiki/ https://getindie.wiki/ It allows you to filter Fandom sites from search results and will either inform you of an independent alternative or automatically redirect you to one, based on your preference. You can also have it redirect Fandom links to a BreezeWiki (https://breezewiki.com/ https://breezewiki.com/) mirror, if no alternative independent wiki is available.
- thrdbndndn 2y agoIt constantly shows "Sorry! Fandom isn't allowing BreezeWiki to show pages right now." for me.
- LordShredda 2y agohttps://getindie.wiki/ https://getindie.wiki/ A must get, though having an extension perform redirects isn't trustworthy nowadays
