When you explain to kids that hacking is not like in the movies, that it doesn't take 10 seconds of typing very quickly, but that you snuck into the building 3 months prior, hid a fake access point and jammer behind a ceiling tile timed to activate at the exact moment.... they say "that's cheating!". Part of the mind wants it to be magic. So they don't see that its just grift, craft, shlep, patience and a shitload of luck.
