Man. I did stuff like this as an 18 year old. Then I grew up to be a mature professional. I don’t want to taint these people for life, and at the same time I don’t want them anywhere near sensitive data or critical systems for our national infrastructure.
In other words this reflects way more poorly on the “management” than these kids themselves.
- Terr_ 2y agoI agree that opportunities for redemption are important... and it looks as if this is literally his very next job after being fired, an extremely high-trust position with no intervening events to indicate he's reformed or learned better. That indicates whomever hired him is either incompetent, or they did so because they plan something malicious and need a compromised henchman and/or scapegoat.
