From what I've read finasteride can cause general psychological adverse events, including suicidal ideation[1], in mostly younger people. Heard someone saying their suicidal thoughts began when taking it and stopped when not, leading them to find more info about it.

- raffraffraff 2y agoAlso loss of libido, erectile dysfunction. It's a gas. Imagine being 60 years old, working out, doing Botox, taking finasteride, looking great, attracting glances from women 20 years younger. Can't get it up and keep thinking about killing oneself. It's a deal
