IMO: capitalism reached the beginning of it's endgame, which is always some form of communism or war. because no other "group" can afford the competitiveness, capitalists chose portfolio communism. brought on the way in the 70s, securing dominance until the financial "crisis" 2008 and after and burning down pretty much any other outcome with the rise of crypto.
