This isn't just "The government is not funding research into this", this is the government maintaining a list of thoughtcrime and banning researchers from using words.
- dcow 2y agoNo it’s not. I am free to publish whatever my crazy mind can cook up. The government’s policy on what an acceptable bar for “take it seriously” is doesn’t change that.
- agieocean 2y agoAs someone who has been censored and who has watched my friends be censored for being trans people and talking about it we are most certainly not "free to publish whatever".
- givemeethekeys 2y agoHow were you censored? Did the government make your ISP block your website? Did you get arrested for distributing a magazine?
