Hey HN! I'm a backend engineer who loves building APIs. I've always been frustrated by how hard it is to work with spreadsheets programmatically. Tools like SheetDB exist, but they’re clunky, outdated, and lack the flexibility developers need today.
I decided to build a modern platform for spreadsheets. It lets you:
- Read/write data to Google Sheets, Excel, or CSVs easily.
- Run Excel formulas via API for automation or analytics.
- Integrate with Zapier, Airtable, or Bubble (no code!).
- Perform advanced data manipulation (e.g., filters, sorting, pivots).

Instead of opening files, you can use them directly in your apps or workflows via API or integrations with tools like Zapier and Bubble. - redeux 2y agoI wouldn't assume anyone knows what PDF.co is. Personally, I've never heard of it and I imagine I'm not alone here.
