Is celulose a 'microplastic' though? Obviosly most tea bags are not made of plastic, at least historically...
- LegitShady 2y agocellulose on its own is not a plastic but they make bioplastics out of cellulose that are plastics.
- mandmandam 2y agoThese days many tea bags use polymers in their glue; and I don't think this article implied anywhere that cellulose is microplastic: > The tea bags used for the research were made from the polymers nylon-6, polypropylene and cellulose
