That's sad isn't it, that "shareholder value" has come to mean
something approximate to "criminal psychopathy".
Many of us are "shareholders" of a one kind or another. We would not
like people to think of us as monsters. We do not want our children
and grandchildren to look back on a tainted legacy, like progeny of
slave-owners, and want to disown their family history.
And so I wonder, for a brief, beautiful moment, what would happen if
in a very coordinated act of repentance, thousands of "shareholders"
decided to simultaneously dump their stock.
You would think that "shareholders" actually had some sort of power,
no? I wonder what digital help could be brought to their assistance?
Or are you thinking that all "shareholders" are powerless before their
vice? Bonded by blutkitt?
