Does access to arbitrary parallel universes imply that they divide up the computation and the correct answer is distributed to all of the universes or in such a collection, there will be sucker universes which will always receive wrong answers ?
- aithrowawaycomm 2y agoGood question! The whole magic of quantum computation versus parallel computation is that the “universe” probabilities interfere with each other so that wrong answers cancel each other out. So I suppose the wrong ”universes” still exist somewhere. But it’s a whole lot less confusing if you view QC as taking place in one universe which is fundamentally probabilistic.
