Thank you. One of the things I would really like to get to the bottom of is the question of why he could not accept the 6-month plea deal. Was it because he feared incarceration, or did his managers and investors do an inadequate job of reassuring him that his career would be protected in spite of the felony? If the latter, this community has a right to know.

- dangus 2y agoNo, this community doesn’t have the right to know any of that. I think his case has been pretty much exhausted. There’s not really much to it that hasn’t already been discussed over and over. A guy died over the pressure of a court proceeding and impending incarceration. It’s tragic but not uncommon, I’ve witnessed similar situationally depressive episodes with people in my life. I think the tech community blows up the situation into a lot more than it was and has turned it into this martyr’s government conspiracy theory.
