In the parts where it is normal, I guess there would be less inclined to used deepfakes for this, so the usage would be lower/fringe and it would not be a problem asking for our attention to solve it.
people visiting a nude beach are voluntarily nude. people have a right to not to have their body exposed without their consent.

it isn't a problem asking for a solution, because a solution would be a tool used to violate privacy

Although it is not their body being exposed, it is a very realistic Photoshop. > it isn't a problem asking for a solution, because a solution would violate another person's privacy So there is not possible solution that would not imply violating privacy, but it is a problem. So it is useful to look at the root causes of the problem. What I was saying is that the problem comes from how we approach nudity and sexuality as a society.
- zero-sharp 2y agoCreating an image, video, or some other piece of content which convincingly and falsely represents another person, without that person's consent, is definitely crossing some lines. Doubly so if it's sexualized. Yep, it's not technically their body. If nobody can tell the difference, I don't think that's actually relevant though.
- youoy 2y agoYes, I agree, it can be a very bad experience for the victim, and it is definitely the case for teens where it can be combined with some sort of bullying.
