I'm going to find out a way to automatically hide comments referencing "musk". You can't even read about a 3Blue1Brown video without people somehow making it about him. Every thread, every day, it's just people talking about Elon Musk.
- johnnyanmac 2y agowe have a HN API, so it's pretty straightforward once you understand it to make an extension/add-on. The hard part from there is design decisions. Do you just have that comment disappear, or fade like a downvoted comment? if it disappears do you remove the entire thread? is a contextless match adequate? (say, someone was talking about deoderant?)
