- zonkerdonker 2y agoThat level of detail needs a few hours of scanning and a few dozen of terrabytes of data, along with processing that data to create a model, and then a rig to power that model. Anything less than that, and the uncanny valley creeps up FAST. There's been work on using scans from an iPhone, but with realistic avatars it's really all or nothing.
