I've been here for 5 years and am almost thirty years old. I still have people regularly asking me where I went to secondary school. They are obsessed with class.
- dukeyukey 2y agoI've been here for 30 years, and am 30 years old, and I don't think anyone has ever asked me where I went to secondary school. What kind of people ask you that?
- emmet 2y agoI somehow keep ending up working at places where 90% of the employees grew up with staff in the house. Dozens of people with wikipedia pages about their families.
- AnimalMuppet 2y agoSo, people who grew up with staff in the house are obsessed with class. That's perhaps disappointing, but not really surprising. I'd bet, in the US, you'd find the same among people who grew up with staff in the house. The difference may be that, in the US, it's a lot harder to find people like that.
