Would you want to take a course that was generated?
- simonw 2y agoNot unless someone credible had reviewed that course for quality first (and ideally iterated on it a bit to improve it).
- geysersam 2y agoWould you want to sell a course online without having to do the work to actually make it? (Slightly embarrassed to admit I find the idea appealing, albeit immoral)
- simonw 2y agoNo, because I value my reputation. I won’t put my name to anything I’m not proud to be associated with. I actually publish quite a lot of stuff with AI assistance this day (code, not writing) and whenever I do I’m transparent with what I used the AI for.

- whiterknight 2y agoIf I’m going to take time out of my busy adult life to better myself, I’m probably going to prefer materials prepared by an expert who cares. The scarce resource here is not high quality learning material, but time and effort. Perhaps this idea has most value in new fields without established material.
