How many of the people on welfare contributed to those things? It just sounds like you're in favor of distributing the wealth to people based on their contribution to the country as a whole.
- coffeecloud 2y agoWho got more out of the system: someone getting weekly $400 check or someone who has managed to acquire 100M in assets? People on welfare aren’t getting nearly as much out of the system as people who have amassed massive wealth, so they should put in substantially less.
- muaytimbo 2y agoProbably none, 50% of the population pays NO federal income tax.
- coffeecloud 2y agoYup, the 50% of the population that has managed to extract zero wealth from the system aren’t asked to put very much back in. Makes sense to me.
