Hey, I'm not the biggest N200 fan (No pun intended). Some people NEED battery life and want a quiet experience so this is tailored for those people, it also happens to be cheaper. We're talking about a Linux device that is cheap and would be powerful enough for a lot of the non-techies. We also needed another option as we aren't doing AMD anymore.... A lot of our Linux users typically work in tech-related jobs and move heavy files/code which is who the Ultra Core 7 model is aimed at. I would love the Ultra Core 7 but if I was a light user I'd prefer the N200 which is cheaper. Hope this helps, we aren't trying to charge super computer prices for an N200, instead just giving the free-market the option. Best Odin

Why not AMD any more? Considering the Intel quality control problems with copper-plated vias on 13th and 14th gen processors, I am giving those a wide berth, and I’d want Zen 5 in a high-performance laptop anyway. I live in the UK and considered getting the Starfighter, but was put off by the excessive lead times which meant it would be obsolete on arrival.

  The Lead times are a serious problem. I joined 2 months ago and can't believe it. Ultimately we need to order in higher quantities instead of doing specific configurations per order. In an ideal world we get ahead of the curve and sell StarFighters that are physically in stock and shipped the same day. I've got some work to do the next two weeks with Book 7, Lite 5 round 2. After that, I can focus on Starfighter bringing its lead times back down to earth. AMD has not been helpful with us and open-source, Intel helps us to make this possible. Although the chip issues may make everyone skeptical about the chips, I have been told that our chips are not affected. Potentially what every company would say but its what I've been told so I believe it. I hope this has answered the AMD & Intel question. And hopefully we bring down lead times to make it a no brainer to choose StarFighter. Best Odin
