I can't believe someone decided, "Hey, we should take this stuff we built as a submarine lubricant, and market it to housewives to make fluffier pie crusts."
Evil genius.
- runjake 2y agoAs far as I know, Crisco was not developed as a “submarine” lubricant. It was designed for food use as a lard substitute. That said, it’s really not healthy for consumption.
