- Grimblewald 2y agoId argue ai accelerates bullshit slingers output disproportionately to genuine creators so theyre flooding the space - but people are the problem not ai (yet)

- lurking_swe 2y agoprobably because they stumbled upon yet another “AI” blog post that is a complete waste of time. I’d be annoyed too. At least this guys angry blog post is somewhat educational - reminding us of biases and how NOT to use LLM’s. all this being said, time to go outside and touch some grass. Get off the computer for a bit.

- rsynnott 2y agoI can't speak for them, obviously, but, argh, this AI bullshit is just getting so tedious. Like, the methodology described in the article is just _nonsense_. > "On two occasions I have been asked, 'Pray, Mr. Babbage, if you put into the machine wrong figures, will the right answers come out?' I am not able rightly to apprehend the kind of confusion of ideas that could provoke such a question" Like, people have known this doesn't work since literally the First Industrial Revolution. And yet still we try asking the magic oracle to unbias our data.
