Where in the first amendment does it state you must allow criminal speech?
- Jimmc414 2y agoWhat was the crime again, throwaway9143? Lying? Mania? How much are the fines for Boeing, or 3M? They must be around a billion dollars as well right?
- Mustachio 2y agoSo, because another party is disproportionately punished for their crimes, we must punish others disproportionately as well? We should be raising the bar, not giving it a funeral.
- Jimmc414 2y agoUnder current law, before public figures can recover on a defamation claim, they must prove that a defamatory comment was made with knowledge that it was false, or with a reckless disregard for its truth or falsity (the malice standard)
